As-built Refresh for Solar Assets
Accurate as-built documentation is essential for reliable operations and maintenance, and future upgrades. We provide detailed as-built plan updates that reflect site conditions, correcting discrepancies between original construction drawings and current system layouts. When files have been lost to time, we can fully recreate system drawings in CAD, including array layouts, conduit routing, component placement, and electrical one-line revisions. This ensures owners, EPCs, and O&M teams have clear, accurate, and up-to-date documentation that reduces troubleshooting time and improves long-term asset performance.
Repower Design
Valent Engineering specializes in creating solutions to bring damaged and underperforming PV systems back into operation. Each system is unique and has specific challenges. We provide complete design and engineering services for PV system repowers, including equipment evaluation, replacement strategies, updated electrical design, and integration with existing infrastructure.
Generation Modeling
Utilizing PVSyst, we provide detailed and defensible system production modeling. Local meteorological data along with detailed 3-D modeling can provide the most accurate modeling and hourly data on many system characteristics.
Specialty Engineering and Optimization
Leveraging software tools and proprietary analyses, we can provide engineering supervision to optimize PV string length, accurately estimate bi-facial gain and PV circuit current to decrease material and equipment costs.
